Veterinary Physiotherapy

Covering North Wiltshire & Surrounding Areas

Tori is a highly qualified veterinary physiotherapist with over six years’ experience working with a large variety of dogs and a broad range of diagnoses. With a first class honors degree in veterinary physiotherapy, a certificate in canine hydrotherapy and canine first aid, Tori has experience working within all aspects of rehabilitation as well as providing maintenance treatment and fitness advice for sporting dogs.

Physiotherapy is not only beneficial for rehabilitation following injury or surgery — it also plays a vital role in supporting dogs with chronic, degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis, helping your pet maintain strength, mobility, and comfort.

Services are offered on a mobile basis, providing treatment in your home to make rehabilitation and long-term care more practical, time-efficient, and comfortable for both you and your dog. The treatment approach is individually tailored, compassionate, and focused on making physiotherapy work for real life — supporting your dog not just in recovery but for as long as they may need.

  • Bringing your pet home after surgery can be overwhelming. Physiotherapy plays a key role in post-operative rehabilitation by supporting safe, controlled recovery while minimising pain, stiffness, and compensatory movement. Early, appropriate intervention helps restore strength, mobility, and function, reduces the risk of secondary issues, and supports a smoother return to normal activity. A tailored rehabilitation plan also improves long-term outcomes by promoting confident movement and overall quality of life during and after recovery.

  • Physiotherapy is an important part of osteoarthritis management, helping to reduce pain, maintain joint mobility, and preserve muscle strength as the condition progresses. Individualised exercise and manual therapy promote comfortable movement, reduce compensatory strain, and encourage continued activity - vital for joint health.

  • Physiotherapy plays a valuable role in the conservative management of musculoskeletal injuries when surgery is not appropriate or indicated. Through carefully controlled exercise, manual therapy, and movement modification, physiotherapy supports tissue healing while maintaining strength, mobility, and functional use of the limb. This approach helps reduce pain, limit compensatory strain, and optimise recovery, allowing many dogs to return to comfortable, functional activity while protecting long-term joint health.
